Privacy choices for readers of the Wazbee editorial guide

Last Updated: 15 September 2026

Effective Date: 15 September 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how we process personal data when you read our independent Wazbee guide, use site features, submit an editorial correction or send a privacy request. It applies to this publication and its editorial forms. It does not govern personal data submitted to a casino, payment provider, identity-verification service or other third party reached from our content; those organisations apply their own notices.

We use personal data only for defined editorial, technical, security and communication purposes. We do not need a reader’s casino password, one-time code, full card number, wallet seed phrase or identity document to answer a publication question.

Who we are and how to reach the privacy desk

Use the Privacy Request Form in the Help section to contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent or marketing preferences. Select “Privacy”, describe the request and provide an email address we can use to verify and answer it. Do not attach casino identity documents unless we specifically explain why a limited proof is legally necessary for the request.

The Editorial Corrections Form is a separate route for factual issues in published copy.

Purposes and legal bases

We process technical data to deliver pages, balance traffic, diagnose errors, maintain security and prevent fraud or automated abuse. The legal basis can be our legitimate interest in running a reliable publication or technical necessity for a service the reader requested.

When a reader submits a form, we process the supplied information to respond and keep an audit trail. This may be necessary to take requested steps, satisfy a legal obligation or pursue the legitimate interest of correcting and defending our content.

Consent is used for non-essential cookies, optional analytics where required, personalised advertising and marketing messages. Consent can be withdrawn through the cookie settings or communication control. Withdrawal affects future processing and does not invalidate processing already carried out lawfully.

We may process or preserve information to comply with law, respond to a lawful authority, establish or defend legal claims, or investigate security incidents. We do not use “legitimate interests” as a blanket explanation; the interest, necessity and impact on the reader must be considered for each activity.

Cookies, local storage and similar technologies

Essential technologies maintain security, load balancing, language choice, consent status and form operation. They support the service requested and are used without optional profiling.

Analytics technologies help us understand aggregate page use, navigation and technical performance. Advertising or affiliate technologies can record that a reader followed an outbound link and may associate the event with a referral partner. They do not give us authority over the destination account.

Local storage may remember interface choices, while pixels or server logs can record page and link events. The cookie settings explain the categories active on the device and allow non-essential categories to be accepted or rejected. Browser controls can also remove stored data, but blocking an essential control may interrupt a form or preference.

Service providers and sharing

We may use carefully selected providers for hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, consent management, forms, file storage, communications and affiliate measurement. They receive only the data reasonably needed for the contracted task and must protect it under appropriate terms.

Personal data can also be shared with confidential professional advisers, a legitimate business successor, regulators or courts when legally required, or another party with the reader’s specific consent. We do not request casino credentials for editorial assistance.

International data transfers

A service provider may process data outside the reader’s country. Where law requires safeguards, we use an adequacy decision, approved contractual clauses or another recognised transfer mechanism.

Readers can ask for more information about the mechanism relevant to their data through the Privacy Request Form.

Retention follows purpose, law and risk

We keep data only while it serves the stated purpose or a legal, security, accounting or dispute requirement. Retention is not one universal period.

Technical security logs are kept for a limited period suited to incident detection. Cookie preferences remain until they expire, are replaced or are removed. Editorial and privacy correspondence can remain longer when needed to prove a request, correction or response. Financial or affiliate records may follow statutory accounting periods.

When the purpose ends, data is deleted, anonymised or isolated. Legal duties, security investigations or claims can limit deletion, and we explain a relevant limit.

Security controls

We use access controls, least-privilege permissions, secure hosting, encryption in transit, monitoring, backups and administrative procedures proportionate to the data. Providers are reviewed for their role, and access is removed when no longer needed.

If a personal-data breach creates a legal notification duty, we assess risk, contain the incident, notify the relevant authority and contact affected people when required.

Rights and how to exercise them

Depending on applicable law, a reader may have rights to:

  • access personal data and receive information about processing;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing;
  • receive portable data in a structured format;
  • withdraw consent;
  • complain to a competent data-protection authority;
  • ask for human review of a significant automated decision.

Submit the request through the Privacy Request Form in the Help section. State the right being exercised and the email or form reference connected to the data. We may ask for proportionate verification so that another person cannot obtain or delete it.

We respond within the period required by applicable law. Marketing can be stopped through the message control or Privacy Request Form; a suppression record may remain so the opt-out continues to work. Service responses to an active request are not marketing.

Age, children and gambling-related data

This guide is intended for adults who have reached the legal gambling age applicable where they live. We do not knowingly invite children to submit personal data or engage with gambling content.

If we learn that a child supplied data, we assess and remove it in line with legal obligations. A parent or guardian can use the Privacy Request Form and should provide only the information needed to identify the submission.

Casino age verification and responsible-gambling account controls are handled by the relevant operator. This publication may explain those topics but does not receive the operator’s KYC file.

Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice when data practices, providers, law or site features change. The Last Updated date records the current edition. A material change may be highlighted through the site or a direct message where required.

The Privacy Request Form in the Help section remains the dedicated route for questions or rights. Include the page and request type, but keep passwords, payment credentials, one-time codes and casino identity files out of the message.
